Works Without the Internet
The module hosts its own web page. If your internet drops, type the module’s IP address into any browser on the same WiFi network and you still have full control.

The module was easy to install. I had a small problem at first, but email support is very responsive and helpful. The module itself does exactly what it’s supposed to do: it allows me to control my Comfortbilt HP22N from anywhere in the world as long as I have internet. Very helpful if you’re gone during the day and are left with the choices to either return to a cold home or heat for no good reason during the day. Now I can just use the app to turn on the heat 30 minutes before I get home. Granted it’s not a life saver, but it’s definitely a pellet saver, and I am sure that the remote will eventually pay for itself. Thanks, BC Innovate 🙂
